Shift: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM6:00 PM; Nightly call on weekdays; 24-hour call on weekends

Hours/week: 50

Experience: Prior Maternal Fetal Medicine practice experience required

What You'll Do

• Review and round on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients alongside residents
• Provide inpatient consults and phone consultations; evaluate patients in-person as needed
• Supervise residents in high-risk OB clinics at Henry Ford Warren as required
• Interpret and manage ultrasound services, including conducting ultrasounds
• Perform procedural interventions such as amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version (ECV)
• Collaborate with the high-risk OB team to support both high- and low-risk pregnancies
• Support the ultrasound department with ultrasound interpretation and related consults

What You Need

Required:

• Active medical license in Michigan
• Prior experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Proficiency in performing amniocentesis, cerclage, and ECV procedures

Preferred:

• Experience supervising residents
• Knowledge of ultrasound interpretation
• Ability to perform chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
