Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Active Michigan medical license or participation in the IMLC
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to perform required procedures, including amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version (ECV)
• At least 1 year of experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or a related obstetric specialty
• Strong comfort level with inpatient consults, ultrasound interpretation, and collaborative resident supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine coverage for high-risk obstetric patients
• Review and round on inpatient MFM patients with residents
• Complete inpatient consults and phone consultations, with in-person evaluations as clinically needed
• Interpret and manage ultrasound services and related consults
• Supervise residents in high-risk obstetric clinic settings as needed
• Perform required procedures, including amniocentesis, cerclage, and ECV
• Participate in weekday, weekend, and night call coverage
• Support high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients in a collaborative care environment
