Position Accessibility Consultant – ADA & FHA Compliance Location: Los Angeles, CA (in office) Company: Code Consultants Inc. (CCI) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonuses Hybrid remote scheduling after the first 6 months Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans 401(k) retirement plan with matching Paid time off – up to 4 weeks in first year 10 paid holidays annually About the Role As an Accessibility Consultant at CCI, you will collaborate with architects, developers, and building owners to ensure compliance with accessibility codes, working on projects such as stadiums, historical landmarks, performance venues, hotels, retail spaces, residential complexes, educational institutions, and corporate campuses. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site field inspections and surveys to assess compliance with ADA and FHA standards. Travel to project locations up to 20% of the time. Work closely with project teams to develop Universal Design solutions that eliminate barriers. Review architectural plans and construction documents for accessibility compliance. Provide clear, concise reports detailing observations, analysis, and recommendations. Qualifications Experience evaluating accessibility compliance in the built environment. Strong knowledge of federal and state accessibility laws, including ADA and FHA. Self‑motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical reports. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, codes, and standards. Additional Qualifications Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field. Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe, or similar software. Certifications such as Licensed Architect, CASp, RAS, or Certified Accessibility Inspector/Plan Examiner.
