CNC Machinist - Aerospace & Defense$30-$40/hr | Full Benefits | Climate-Controlled FacilityJoin a growing aerospace manufacturing team producing high-precision components for the aerospace and defense industry.We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong setup experience on complex multi-axis equipment.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathes, mill-turns, Swiss machines, and 5-axis millsPerform complete machine setups including tooling, offsets, and program verificationEdit G-Code and M-Code at the machineMachine high-tolerance aerospace and defense componentsTroubleshoot tooling, programming, and machining issuesCollaborate with engineering and programming teams to improve processesQualificationsCNC setup experience (not just machine operation)Experience with twin spindle, twin turret, mill-turn, or Swiss machinesAbility to read blueprints and make program edits at the controlExperience with Okuma, DMG Mori, Doosan, Eurotech, Matsuura, or similar equipment preferredAerospace, defense, or other precision machining experience preferredJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
