This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop valuable skills in a fast-paced setting.ResponsibilitiesAssist with loading, unloading, materials on carts, pallets, and blast tableSupport team members in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work areaHelp Painter, Blaster, Leads, Engineering, and support other areasOperate handheld stamping equipment safely and correctlyUse power tools and grinders safely (face shield required)Read and interpret drawings per print for stamping locationsVerify Heat numbers to print and work orders to raw materialFollow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediatelyChemical Handlings, Fork-truck certifiedPaint prepping, blast prepping, saw cutting, other tasks or projects may be assignedOven curing responsibilityPerform general duties such as cleaning, trash removal, and site preparation to ensure operational efficiency and prep plant for visitorsQualificationsSafety 1st must always wear (PPE) gloves, masks, steel toe boots while performing tasksAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periodsMust be a safe starter and work with minimum supervisionStrong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skillsGood communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearlyBasic Math (Adding, Subtracting, etc.)Basic understanding of safety procedures in a work environmentPrior experience in manual labor lifting 35lbsReliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this roleWork environmentWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fork truck traffic. While the work area may be described as generally clean, safe, and "not loud", there will be machining and weld operations that generate moderate noise, metal particles, and dust
