Location: SIXT Rent a Car - Indianapolis Area
Pay: $60,000-$75,000 per year, including a monthly car allowance
About the Role:

SIXT Rent a Car, part of the Tom Wood Group, is looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our customer-focused team in the Indianapolis area. In this role, you will lead and develop team members while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and smooth day-to-day operations.

The Operations Supervisor will play an important role in driving sales and profitability through coaching, training, team development, and effective operational management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to ensure daily responsibilities and assigned tasks are completed according to company standards.
• Train, coach, and develop new and existing team members to help them succeed.
• Motivate employees through goal setting, coaching, feedback, and follow-up.
• Build a strong team environment focused on accountability, communication, and performance.
• Meet and exceed departmental objectives, including conversion and lead-generation goals.
• Create a culture of ownership and accountability while addressing employee concerns as needed.
• Communicate company values, goals, and expectations clearly to team members.
• Create and maintain employee schedules based on operational needs.
• Ensure employees follow assigned schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve performance, and drive profitability.
• Support cross-functional communication to improve overall operations and working conditions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer needs as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of sales experience required.
• 3-5 years of car rental experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience creating and managing employee schedules.
• Ability to effectively communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful or unusual situations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.
• Must be willing to wear company-provided uniforms.
• Ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus.
• Must be available to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
