This role is critical for sourcing and purchasing aerospace fasteners and components, ensuring our procurement processes align with the company’s strategic objectives. As a Procurement Agent, you will play an essential role in analyzing data, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability throughout our supply chain. Key Responsibilities Sourcing and Purchasing: Search for and purchase aerospace fasteners and components, ensuring every procurement activity meets the business enterprise’s quality and reliability needs. You will collaborate and analyze data to evaluate the feasibility of purchasing products and set cost targets. Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, discussing their operations and determining factors that influence pricing. Your goal is to identify cost‑effective solutions that meet high‑quality and delivery requirements. Price Negotiation: Review proposals, negotiate prices, and select or recommend suppliers based primarily on comprehensive assessment. You will be responsible for issuing purchase orders, managing deliveries, and expediting orders as necessary. Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with the Sales department to understand customer requests and requirements, devising effective sourcing strategies. Collaborate with the Quality department to address any issues related to defective or substandard goods, ensuring proper actions are taken to resolve the issues. Order Management: Confirm purchase order acknowledgments and verify the accuracy of purchase order information. You will work cross‑functionally with agencies to resolve charge issues and ensure timely shipment of products. Qualifications To be considered for the Procurement Agent role, applicants should possess the following qualifications: Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desired. Experience: 2-4 years of related operational experience in procurement or supply chain management is required. Experience in aerospace compliance and regulations is preferred. Skills: Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Familiarity with cost modelling and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment are also essential. This position requires compliance with Export Control requirements; therefore, a “US Person” as defined in 22 C.F.R. § 100.15 is required.
