About the Opportunity: The Waterjet Operator will be responsible for program, set-up, and operation of waterjet machine. Location: Eastford CT This role must be onsite 5 days/week Monday -Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Responsibilities: Set-up and operation of Jet Edge waterjet machine. Set-up and operation of Mazak milling machine Understanding capabilities of machine to maximize output. Ability to check dimensions of finished parts using standard measuring devices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Routine and preventive maintenance including equipment checks Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of related experience Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience Must have demonstrated mechanical ability. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to keep accurate records. Ability to follow documented procedures, work instructions and customer requirements. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Knowledge of Jet Edge Waterjet machine a plus. Mechanical background Waterjet and CNC Machining knowledge a plus Physical Requirements: Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds..
