Finance Associate Attorney - Leveraged Finance

Job Overview A law firm seeks a 4th-5th year Finance Associate Attorney to join their Leveraged Finance and Private Equity Finance team in New York, NY. This role involves advising private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, and debt providers on various financing transactions. Duties Represent private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in borrower-side debt financing transactions. Draft, negotiate, and structure definitive loan documents and ancillary debt financing documentation. Manage transaction workstreams, coordinate closings, and serve as a day-to-day contact for clients. Collaborate with Corporate/M&A and other practice groups on acquisition financing transactions. Requirements 4-5 years of relevant leveraged finance or acquisition finance experience. Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Admitted to and a member in good standing of the bar in the jurisdiction of the office location. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Excellent written communication skills. Experience with acquisition financing and industry practices.
