Job Details Location: 4451 E. Oak St., Phoenix, AZ 85008. Position Type: Full Time. Job Summary As a Health Center Relations Specialist, you will greet clients and visitors, guide them to appropriate staff, schedule appointments, collect client information, handle payments and receipts, maintain confidentiality, manage office supplies, and participate in staff meetings and trainings in a fast‑paced environment. Work Hours Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Duties Greet individuals coming into the clinic in a professional and courteous manner, assist their needs promptly with compassion, in accordance with Terros Health values. Process patient check‑in and notify the appropriate staff member of arrivals. Update relevant information during flow by completing a four‑point check. Review and update daily schedules; ensure all necessary data is accurately collected. Gather and maintain patient demographics, ensuring accurate and complete information in compliance with UDS guidelines. Basic knowledge of insurance levels, including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, and various other types. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (within six months of assuming the position) or associate’s degree in medical and health‑related fields preferred. Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute. At least one year of relevant front‑office, customer‑facing service experience in healthcare, behavioral health, dental, or a medical office (preferred). Experience in hospitality or banking is also considered. Familiarity with health insurance eligibility and electronic health record management systems; experience with NextGen preferred. Intermediate competency in Microsoft Suite and web‑based programs. Experience managing a wide range of administrative and support‑related tasks; well organized, flexible, able to multi‑task, with strong time‑management skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record of delivering a high level of customer service in a healthcare setting. Must pass a TB test. This is a non‑driving position held at one location with no requirement for traveling to other centers. Bilingual Pay Differential Bilingual pay differential is available.
