The Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality system solutions that support business objectives. This role is responsible for analyzing business needs, eliciting and documenting requirements, supporting solution design, facilitating testing, and ensuring successful implementation of technology enhancements and new capabilities.The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements that drive effective solutions.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges, or If you reside in Richardson, TX, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote position* as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand, gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and system requirementsAnalyze business processes and identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, workflow optimization, and other enhancementsTranslate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rulesPerform impact analysis to identify risks, assumptions, dependencies, downstream effects, and implementation considerationsAct as a liaison between business users, Product Managers, Architects, Developers, QA, and operational teams to deliver technology solutionsSupport solution design and ensure requirements and proposed solutions align with business objectives and customer needsParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, UAT, release activities, and production validationPerform testing activities, defect triage, user acceptance testing, and validation of delivered solutionsCreate and maintain project documentation, including requirements, user stories, process flows, traceability matrices, business rules, and operational proceduresInvestigate production issues, coordinate root-cause analysis with technical teams, and support issue resolutionEnsure delivered solutions meet business, operational, compliance, quality, and customer requirementsWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
