About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:45 - 16:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R Must-Have: Cardiac Cath experience preferred Familiarity with Electrophysiology, Vascular, Interventional Radiology is a plus. Description: This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology. Call required 1-2 times a week at night and every 4th weekend. Skills required include: - ASD closures - Cardiac Ablation - Cardiac Implant Closure Device - Cardiac Mapping - Cardioversion - Carotid Stenting - Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization - Endovascular Interventions - Equipment setup - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Left heart catheterization - Pacemaker insertion - Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Familiarity with GE imaging equipment preferred. Position involves working with adults and geriatric patients. Expected patient visits per day are approximately 7. The work environment includes 2 rooms with a total of 9 beds. Interdisciplinary support services are available. There is a strict compliance deadline for credentialing. The candidate must complete fingerprinting as soon as possible after booking. Two professional references are required, including one from a leadership or supervisory role.
