Garage Door Service Technician – $60K–$80K – Birmingham, AL Red Mountain Garage Doors - Birmingham, AL Red Mountain Garage Doors is hiring an experienced Garage Door Service Technician to join our growing Birmingham team. If you have mechanical skills, garage door experience, and take pride in quality work and customer service, we want to talk to you. What We Offer $18–$20/hour during training Realistic earning potential of $60K–$80K+ after training Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance PTO + Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Stable, year-round work Team-oriented culture with growth opportunities What You’ll Do Install and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Provide professional customer service in the field Document completed work with notes and photosMaintain safe, clean, and organized job sites Recommend additional services or upgrades when appropriate Requirements Minimum 2 years of garage door installation/service experience preferred Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Dependable, professional, and self-motivated High school diploma or GED Also Open To We are willing to train mechanically inclined candidates with strong work ethic and customer service skills through our apprentice program.
