Adjunct Instructor

Adjunct Instructor Department: Columbia College Global Location: Main Campus, Columbia MO Pay: $450 - $2,150 per 8-week course (varies by geographic location) Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Description: The Instructor will teach synchronous courses in-seat after 5:00pm on a part‑time basis. Candidates whose application remains active for up to two years may be contacted if a position becomes available. After two years applicants may reapply to update their application. Responsibilities: Deliver synchronous instruction to undergraduate students after 5:00pm. Prepare instructional materials and assessments in alignment with course objectives. Provide timely feedback and support to students. Maintain accurate records of student progress. Qualifications: Minimum a master’s degree in the related field for teaching undergraduate courses. For graduate courses, a doctorate degree in the related field. Current professional experience in an associated field and higher education teaching experience are highly desired. Authorized to work in the United States. Offer of employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check, including academic, residential, employment, credit, driving, and criminal history.
