Human Resources Generalist

Adecco Creative & Marketing is partnering with a leading global food and beverage company to hire an HR Generalist for their Eau Claire, WI manufacturing facility. This is a 1-year contract opportunity with a payrate of $30-33hr for an HR professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys building relationships with employees and leaders at all levels. The HR Generalist will work closely with the site HR team and factory leadership to provide day-to-day HR support across employee relations, labor relations, recruiting and onboarding, HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement. This is a highly visible role with regular interaction on the production floor, making strong communication, sound judgment, and a practical approach to HR especially important. Schedule & Flexibility This position supports a 24/7 manufacturing operation. While the primary schedule will typically align with the day shift, the HR Generalist must be comfortable flexing their schedule when business needs require it. This may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, or occasional off-shift coverage to support employee relations matters, investigations, grievances, onboarding, employee communications, or site events. What You\'ll Do Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and people leaders, providing guidance on workplace concerns, attendance, performance, policies, corrective action, benefits, and other employment matters. Support employee and labor relations activities, including investigations, grievance preparation, fact gathering, documentation, and collective bargaining agreement interpretation. Partner with managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and corrective action. Maintain a regular presence on the production floor, building strong relationships with hourly and salaried employees and identifying concerns early. Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, communication, wellness, and culture initiatives. Assist with recruiting and hiring activities, including interview coordination, candidate communication, offer support, onboarding, and new-hire orientation. Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS information, reports, files, and other HR documentation. Help employees navigate questions related to attendance, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, leave, and accommodations. Partner with HR Operations, Benefits, Payroll, Legal, and other internal teams when additional support is needed. Help ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and site procedures. Identify trends related to employee relations, attendance, turnover, onboarding, and employee feedback and help develop practical solutions. Participate in HR routines, training initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and other site activities. Follow all applicable safety, food safety, quality, GMP, environmental, and site security requirements. What We\'re Looking For 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, Employee Relations, or related HR role. Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience supporting hourly employees in a manufacturing, plant, warehouse, distribution, CPG, food production, or other operational environment preferred. Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, corrective action, attendance, and performance management. Union or labor relations experience strongly preferred, including grievance support or collective bargaining agreement interpretation. Working knowledge of employment practices and applicable regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, and NLRA, preferred. Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office; SAP SuccessFactors, UKG/Kronos, or similar systems is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization. Excellent organization, attention to detail, judgment, and follow-through. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee matters with professionalism and discretion. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
