In this role, you will respond to security-related concerns, support site operations, and contribute to a people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity at Allied Universal.

Pay Rate: $37.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Support asset protection and after-hours coverage by checking doors, gates, and sensitive areas, maintaining awareness of site activity, and completing required reports before, during, and/or after each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor and/or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
