This individual will be responsible for the design of sustainable self-service solutions to support data-driven decisions. Ability to dig into complex stored procedures and document findings as requirements (user stories). Analyze Oracle and BigQuery datasets to drive improvement to our self-service product, connecting them with key information to drive business decisions. Research issues, and come up with requirements to solve them. Support product development and improve existing deliverables.

Analyze internal dataset in our legacy and cloud environment using BigQuery, Oracle, and other BI tools to drive impactful business decisions. Able to dig into Oracle stored procedures and understand the logic behind and do reverse engineering, document the findings and create requirements if necessary. Hands on experience in Business Objects, this person will not be building reports but it needs to understand how to find the logic behind the report to document it and create requirements from the findings. Communicate insights from data analysis in user stories. Contribute to research product development by leveraging data analysis and visualization skills. Drives significant analytic initiatives in support of business strategies. Develops an understanding of business processes and operational tools in order to create best self-service integration for user reports and dashboards. Designs and develops creative and interactive data visualizations. Partners with business leaders across the organization to support and implement high-quality, data-driven solutions. Other duties as required by business needs.

5+ years of data analyst experience. 2+ years of business analytics experience. Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science. Expertise in using SQL to extract data from Oracle databases to run data comparisons against BigQuery and proficiency in writing SQL queries. Knowledgeable in data visualization tools including Looker and Business Objects. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills and a creative thinker with a vision. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under tight deadlines. Track record of working successfully both independently as well in a team. Highly motivated self-starter with evidence of intellectual curiosity and creativity. Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems.
