Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• Experience with vascular imaging
• Experience performing general ultrasound exams, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and vascular exams

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Shift days: Wednesday - Friday, Saturday
• On-call requirement: Fridays from 11:30 PM - 6:30 AM. Every fourth weekend: Saturday from 11:30 PM - 6:30 AM and Sunday from 5:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: Sometimes
• Holiday requirement: Rotate
• Charting system: Cerner
• Department equipment: Phillips EPIQ
