AdventHealth Medical Group - Surgical Assistants of Florida Physician Assistant (PA-C) AdventHealth Central Florida Division General Summary Providing first assisting during surgical procedures Participates in the management of the intraoperative care of surgical patients. Ensuring operating room is properly set up and equipped for planned procedure Perform all intraoperative tasks as directed by the surgeon Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed Specialties covered but not limited to: Robotics, Orthopedics, Urogynecology, Plastic Surgery, Neurology, and Vascular. Schedule Details Campuses Covered: AdventHealth Central Florida Division 5-day operating schedule Call and weekend responsibility Knowledge and Skills Required Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. Strong communication skills Strong medical decision‑making skills Required Education and Experience Graduation from an ARC-PA approved physician assistant program Minimum 2 years’ experience as a PA‑C in surgical first assisting in at least one of our listed specialties. Preferred experience in spine and robotics Required Licensure, Certification, and Registration Current, valid and unrestricted Florida PA license NCCPA certification Current BLS (ACLS optional) #J-18808-Ljbffr
