The Role:

Junior Accountant

Melville, NY, Full time

Salary Range: $52,000–$65,000 DOE

EGC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for billing/ accounting operations in our agency to ensure accurate client invoicing, tracking billable services, financial record management and coordinating with internal teams to maintain processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Accounting

• Prepare and issue client invoices based on campaigns, retainers, and project deliverables
• Track billable hours, media spend, and third-party costs across multiple accounts
• Reconcile discrepancies between contracts, scopes of work, and billed services
• Coordinate with account managers, media buyers, and finance team to verify billing details
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation for audits and reporting
• Assist with month-end close, including preparing schedules and resolving outstanding items
• Willing to work long hours during the month end close and tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, accounts receivable, financial processes, billing software.
• Accounts Payable support.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of billing and accounting experience a must (marketing or agency preferred)
• Proficient experience with billing or accounting software as well as Excel
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
