Assistant General Counsel

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a non-profit organization in New York, is seeking an interim Assistant General Counsel to assist their team on a contract basis. This role is very flexible for hybrid but requires travel to NYC - especially during the initial period. This role is anticipated to last for 6+ months, full-time hours, depending on workflow. Responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating loan documents and other credit documentation Advising on a wide variety of matters including loan amendments, modifications, workouts, loan structuring, transaction strategy, and credit risk matters Working collaboratively with various internal and external teams Drafting contracts, provisions, and templates Requirements: 7+ years of legal experience in finance, lending, or general commercial transactions JD and active license in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction Experience representing lenders in secured and unsecured loans required The anticipated pay rate for this position is between $100 and $125 per hour, depending on experience.
