Senior Technical Accountant

Tatum by Randstad's client is seeking an Interim Senior Technical Accountant (Financial Reporting) for a six month interim engagement. Candidates must have strong external SEC Reporting skills and understanding of Sox controls. Must be willing to be onsite 5 days a week in Las Vegas and take pressure off of the Director of Financial Reporting.

responsibilities:



Key Responsibilities: Responsible for drafting SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q), evaluating FASB/SEC standard updates, and working with tools like Workiva. Notably, the job description explicitly lists partnering directly with the Director of Corporate Accounting to establish technical conclusions and ensure strict internal controls.

The Q3 scope in sits heavily on SEC reporting execution - 10-Q and registration statement drafting, footnote and MD&A support, XBRL tagging, and audit-ready documentation in a Workiva environment.

qualifications:

• Required: hands-on 10-Q/10-K preparation within the last three years, either at an SEC registrant or at a firm supporting one
• Required: Workiva and XBRL fluency
• Strongly preferred: active CPA; experience in a first-year ICFR environment
• Helpful: multi-entity consolidations, equity compensation exposure
