Our organization is on the lookout for Gastroenterology Physicians to join a Hospitalist Model for our newly established service in Syracuse, NY.

Position Highlights:

• Act as a GI Hospitalist, offering inpatient consultations and conducting procedures.
• Engage with a comprehensive health system that is part of one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic healthcare networks in the country.
• Work on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.
• Administration is highly supportive of the growth and vision of the GI department.
• Access to a vast network of primary care and specialty physicians.
• Current call schedule involves one weekend per month, with affiliated groups covering evenings and weekends.
• The average hospital inpatient volume is 15-20 patients, with 3-7 new consultations daily.
• Opportunities for resident education and clinical research are available.

We aim to develop and enhance expertise in the following areas:

• Advanced Endoscopy, including EUS with therapeutics, advanced ERCP skills, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy.
• Inflammatory bowel disease.
• Hepatology (non-transplant).
• Esophageal and rectal manometry.

Our organization provides an outstanding compensation and benefits package, which includes:

• Sign-on Bonus.
• The listed salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensations. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please be aware that this salary range is provided in accordance with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
