Store Manager

Store ManagerStore Managers are responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets all operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. Store Managers are also responsible for ensuring store team members are properly motivated and trained and that qualified team members are developed and ready to fill open positions.Job Responsibilities:Maintaining exemplary customer service within the store and building relationships with our customers so they will choose to do business with us againEstablishing a strong customer service cultureImplementing strategies to help meet store goals and objectivesRecruiting, developing, and motivating store team members who exceed internal and external customer expectationsEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsAnalyzing financial statements and trends to increase and maximize salesSupervising the team's activities, including but not limited to transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling proceduresCoaching and developing the team per career development plans set by the District ManagerMarketing within the community to increase market share and store revenuesResolving customer complaints if they occurControlling labor hours, cash, and store auditsReviewing all Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training to ensure the team understands current policies, procedures, and any changes.Helping to maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and team membersOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:A minimum of two years of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurantAbility, willingness, and comfort to engage with customersAbility to develop positive relationships with customers and colleaguesStrong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a teamExcellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skillsHigh-energy, collaborative leadership expertiseProfessional appearance and demeanorMust be honest and have integrityEnglish fluency is requiredEnglish/Spanish bilingual is a plusWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periodsMust be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistanceMust be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levelsMust manage several projects at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet the needs and requests of customersEnglish fluency is requiredEnglish/Spanish bilingual is a plusBenefits:Benefits for eligible team members include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), vacation, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing training.We strive to demonstrate our Core Values in all positions at PLS: Communication Customer Focus Integrity and Trust Teamwork ResultsPLS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
