Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Key tasks include: Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy technicians Bill within the respective setting following guidelines for the facility Understand and comply with the governing PT board’s rules and regulations within the state Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition Use medical center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements The position requires at least 6 months of experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
