Located in a vibrant school setting near Fairport, NY, this opportunity offers the chance to provide essential support services as a valued member of the educational community.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: September 8, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing contract until the position is filled internally
- Full-time schedule; specific caseload and hours will be determined by late August
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid New York State School Social Worker certification
- Current LMSW or LCSW license (required)
- Prior experience supporting students, educators, or families in school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Empathy, professionalism, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to create a positive, productive learning atmosphere
- Develop and implement interventions addressing attendance, behavior, and academic engagement
- Assist with crisis intervention, case management, and resource referrals
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and support school-wide initiatives
