Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Sr. Manager, Quality Engineering in Hartford, CT to design, develop and implement high‑quality software solutions throughout the full software development life cycle. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using object‑oriented languages such as Java, Python or C#. Develop, optimize and execute software test automation strategies that align with Agile and iterative development methodologies. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated test execution within DevOps workflows. Develop and implement software solutions that enhance testing capabilities, system performance and application security. Collaborate with development teams to embed quality in the software development process from the initial design phase. Utilize best practices to create scalable, maintainable and high‑performance applications. Monitor and evaluate software performance through continuous integration testing and real‑time monitoring. Ensure adherence to testing practices such as TDD and BDD. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and design sessions to improve quality and efficiency. Mentor junior developers and engineers on automation frameworks, coding best practices and testing methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 60 months of experience in a related occupation, including 60 months in each of the following: Software testing, quality assurance and troubleshooting; Domain support for a healthcare or retail organization; Agile methodologies or SAFe software development principles; REST, SOAP or Web Service APIs; MySQL; Tableau; Web service API testing; Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server; Mobile application testing with GigaFox; Perfecto. Pay Range $130,295.00 per year to $260,590.00 per year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. This position also includes eligibility for bonuses, commissions, short‑term incentive programs and equity awards.
