Job Overview The General Manager, reporting to the President - Nikkiso Cryogenic Pumps Functional Unit, directs operations through a team of directors and functional managers. This role is responsible for running the day-to-day operations and employee interactions to run an effective manufacturing operation. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring all departments meet their performance targets. Optimize the use of manpower, materials, and machines to achieve operational goals. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies. Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols and procedures. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and meeting delivery timelines. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development. Analyze and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality. Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on‑time delivery. Determines operations head count needs and ensures compliance with company policies. Ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects. Support the professional growth and development of team members through regular training and performance evaluations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies. Contribute to long‑term planning and organizational growth initiatives. Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred. 10 + years of manufacturing management experience; experience with rotating equipment manufacturing preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in the use of MS Office and relevant software applications. Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
