Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform orbital and TIG welding of high-purity stainless steel assemblies per drawings and specifications. Set up and operate orbital welding equipment, including ARC 207 power supplies or equivalent. Prepare, fit, assemble, and weld tubing and components using proper fabrication techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, BOMs, and weld procedures. Ensure weld quality and compliance with safety, customer, and industry standards. Train junior technicians and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and QA/QC teams. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. 35 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent training. Previous orbital welding and/or TIG welding experience. Current welding certification or ability to re-certify. Portfolio or examples of previous welding workmanship preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and QC documents. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Preferences: Basic machine tool knowledge preferred. Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Familiarity with welding, cutting, facing, and tube preparation processes. Physical Effort/Activities: May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
