Personnel Plus, Inc., is now hiring Welders in Boise, Idaho
Our client is immediately hiring experienced Welders to join its production team. Day and swing shifts are available in a clean, safe, modern shop featuring top-of-the-line equipment and a fun, laid-back work environment. This position offers excellent benefits and a Monday–Thursday schedule with no weekends!
Available schedules and Pay: Day shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM Swing shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Pay DOE!
What you’ll do:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to prepare jobs and materials
- Select the appropriate welding equipment, settings, and methods for each project
- Set up components according to job specifications
- Verify measurements before cutting and bending materials to reduce waste
- Weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for quality and integrity
- Use power and hand tools to hammer, grind, and polish materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- Strong welding skills
- Ability to accurately read measurements, parts lists, blueprints, and sketches
- Ability to weld horizontally, vertically, and overhead
- Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment, including overhead cranes
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a drug screening
