We are currently seeking a Design Engineer I to work as a structural engineer in our White Bear Lake office. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering.Duties and Responsibilities Design of buildings and miscellaneous support structures under the supervision of a licensed structural engineerRead and interpret project plans, specifications, shop drawings and other construction documentsProvide clients with efficient engineering design that adheres to the jurisdiction's current building codes and standardsWill learn to think critically about unique structures and their solutions Minimum QualificationsBachelor 's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering within 3 monthsUndergraduate coursework must show emphasis in structural designStrong project organization and management skillsSolid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsEngineering-in-training (EIT) certificate, or the ability to obtain within one yearPreferred Qualifications Experience with structural analysis software (such as Abacus, RISA or STAAD) Familiarity with AutoCAD design software, REVITLarson provides a challenging and empowered environment that encourages employee growth and provides flexibility for your active life outside of work.
