Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art Sterile and Materials Processing department. The Sterile Processing Technician will support the decontamination, disinfection, assembly, and distribution of surgical instruments using advanced equipment.

- Inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instrument pans and trays
- Operate and maintain steam sterilizers according to established procedures
- Check and adjust medical equipment to ensure operational standards
- Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment following procedures
- Receive, store, and document supplies from vendors and hospital areas
- Conduct quality assurance on sterile supplies and instruments
- Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Experience in a large hospital setting (500+ beds)
- Travel experience (minimum 6 months)
- Two professional references from the last two experiences
