Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Hyannis, Massachusetts

A contract opportunity for a pharmacy professional is available in Nantucket, MA, supporting an outpatient/retail pharmacy attached to a hospital. This assignment is approximately 13 weeks, with an ASAP start date, offering day shifts on a five-day, eight-hour schedule.


This role involves covering a vacancy in a busy retail pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will hold a Massachusetts pharmacy license, have retail pharmacy experience, demonstrate full-time availability, and bring a positive, professional attitude to the position.


Key responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in a retail outpatient setting
• Utilizing the McKesson EnterpriseRX system; experience with this software is highly preferred
• Providing excellent patient counseling and customer service
• Collaborating with healthcare providers within the hospital network to optimize patient care

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Previous retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with McKesson EnterpriseRX strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work full-time, day shifts (5 days, 8 hours per day)
