Labor & Employment Associate

Schwartz Semerdjian Cauley Schena & Bush, a respected full-service San Diego law firm is seeking a litigation associate with at least 2 years of labor and employment experience to join its employment practice. The position will focus on employment counseling and employment defense, including PAGA matters. Our firm fosters a strong mentorship culture where associates are set up for success through guidance and support. Associates are trusted with meaningful responsibility, handling cases from inception to conclusion, which accelerates professional growth and confidence. Associate attorneys at the firm are responsible for day-to-day tasks such as drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, as well as appearing for court hearings and depositions. We value a collaborative, team-oriented, in-person work environment. We offer a flexible hybrid schedule, but may consider a fully remote arrangement depending on the circumstances. Exceptional academic credentials and strong writing skills are required. Competitive market compensation will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
