Our service area includes the communities in Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine, and portions of Cottonwood, Lac qui Parle, Nobles, and Redwood counties. JOB DESCRIPTION: UWSWMN is currently seeking a Programs Coordinator to manage our internal programs and the Community Impact Grants (CIG) program. This is an in-office, full-time position that offers high-level community impact and direct program ownership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee day-to-day operations of core internal programs—such as Stuff the Bus, the Imagination Library, Wild About Kindergarten, and the Student Emergency Fund—including purchasing supplies, managing volunteers, and outcome tracking. Manage the full lifecycle of the Community Impact Grant program, including tracking applications, organizing volunteer review panels, processing payments, and compiling board summaries. Support fundraising and community events (such as the Beer Pairing Dinner andPower of the Purse). Assist with promoting UWSWMN programs, impact stories, and community events through social media updates and marketing collateral. Foster strong relationships with community partners, donors, and volunteers. Handle day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth communication across internal programs with key stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability manage multiple programs and priorities independently. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, database management, and general office technology. Valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and the ability to occasionally lift and transport program materials (such as supply bins and book boxes).
