This position requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to travel for on-site system installations. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and controls experience, particularly with CNC machines and controls/PLC’s. Additionally, this individual will contribute to technical documentation and product development efforts. Responsibilities System Installation and Setup Install and configure Tool Load Monitoring, Adaptive Controls, and Machine Monitoring systems on-site at customer locations. Perform electrical and controls integration with CNC machines and other industrial equipment. Ensure systems are fully operational and meet customer requirements. Technical Support and Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve issues related to system functionality, performance, and integration. Provide remote and on-site support to address technical challenges. Travel Requirements Travel to customer sites across the US for installations, training, and support (travel up to 70%). Technical Documentation Develop and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical manuals, user guides, and installation instructions. Document installation and troubleshooting processes for internal use. Product Development Support Provide feedback from field installations to assist in refining and improving Company’s products. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to test and validate new features or systems. Customer Interaction Train customers on the use and maintenance of installed systems. Represent Company with professionalism and maintain strong customer relationships. Qualifications Technical Expertise Strong background in electrical and controls systems, particularly with CNC machines and industrial controls. Experience with system integration, PLCs, and industrial automation. Familiarity with machine monitoring and IoT technologies is a plus. Education and Experience Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules effectively. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
