A prestigious Midtown NYC plaintiff's firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
. Manage all aspects of personal injury or medical malpractice cases, from initial client intake to trial.
. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal documents.
. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
. Collaborate with expert witnesses and other legal professionals to build strong cases.
. Provide clients with clear and timely legal advice throughout their case.
. Ensure all legal work is completed with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
. Attend in-person court appearances when required; however, some remote work is available for flexibility.
Qualifications:
. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling medical malpractice cases.
. Proven track record in managing medical malpractice litigation, including trials.
. Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to work with medical records.
. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
. Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
. Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor with a client-focused approach.
. Admitted to practice law in New York State.
