Role Description The Maintenance Coordinator is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating maintenance requests and projects across multiple properties and trades, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include dispatching technicians, tracking work orders, monitoring preventive maintenance schedules, and maintaining accurate records in the maintenance management system. The Maintenance Coordinator will communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to provide status updates, address issues, and support problem resolution. The role also involves reviewing service quality, identifying recurring issues, assisting with inventory and parts ordering, and supporting continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong background in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, with the ability to plan and track routine and corrective work. Hands‑on understanding of Equipment Maintenance, including basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related building systems. Experience in Maintenance Management, including use of work order systems, documentation, and reporting. Supervisory Skills to coordinate technicians, manage schedules, and support performance standards in the field. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize under time pressure. Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow‑through. Proficiency with basic office software and digital maintenance or work order platforms. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in building trades or facilities management are a plus. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for on‑site maintenance work.
