About the Job Position: Project Engineer – Construction. Location: Sacramento, CA. Salary: Depending on experience and education – from $60,000 to $90,000 annually. We also provide a variety of services for all site improvement work such as grading, paving, excavation, demolition, road construction, parking lot construction, concrete pad installation, procurement, and installation of a variety of prefabricated or modular commercial buildings, utility connections, and installation of water, storm drain structures and various underground utilities. Job Description We are seeking engineering or construction management professionals with 1+ year of experience in project management. It is an added plus if you have developed design concepts, actual designs, and proposals. Follow projects from design to completion. Skills and Abilities Sage Timberline, Primavera Suretrak, and Microsoft Office Suite software. The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, problem‑solve, supervise, and organize while using effective time‑management skills. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree, or equivalent experience in a construction‑related position. Prior experience in directing and coordinating the construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements, as well as inspecting. Knowledge of preparing specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment. Supervising and training project team members as necessary. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ability to travel with possible short‑term relocation, as required. The ability to read blueprints.
