Senior UX Content Strategist

Required:
- 10 years of full-time experience as a Content Strategist Editorial Strategist Information Architect or in a comparable role
- Strong copywriting skills with a portfolio of published work
- Experience writing to a style guide
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - comfortable organizing meetings and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to self-manage tasks and deliver on deadline
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics (ability to run traffic reports and apply insights to content)
- Experience using user research to inform content decisions
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Journalism Communications Creative Writing Digital Media or a related field
- Background in government higher education or nonprofit settings
- Experience writing in plain language at a sub-7th grade reading level
- Hands-on experience with a modern content management system (CMS)
- Ability to navigate complex approval workflows involving legal policy and executive stakeholders
