Registered Nurse - ER

POSITION: Registered Nurse ER (Adult) Shift hours/Contract Length: 3x12 / Mid/Nights rotation - 1100a-2300p / 1900p-0700a / 13 weeks. Charting: EPIC experience required. Weekend Requirement: Every Other RTO/Block. Call off Policy: The client may cancel up to three shifts during a 13‑week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours. Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday if needed. Accept First‑Time Travelers: Yes. Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: RN's within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Locals accepted for LPN's. REQUIRED LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS Pending License Accepted: No. Must have an active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact). BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Please include valid NIHSS. REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs); IV vasopressors CPAP/BiPAP; Ventilator management CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias) Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma) Isolation precautions; Triage; Pediatric spinal cord injury UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING Ratios: 1:5; Adults, Geriatrics; All emergency type diagnoses. Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment. Floating: Will be required to float within skillset. Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white.
