Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerXcaliber International LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager for our Tulsa headquarters. The Accounting Manager position will be primarily responsible for ensuring monthly financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP, assisting with the annual external audit and various related functions including supervising inventory counts, documenting implementation of accounting standards and maintaining internal controls. The Accounting Manager will also prepare, file and or/review numerous financial reports as required by the US Government.Responsibilities:Review journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliationsSupervise month-end closing activities ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial dataPrepare monthly and quarterly internal financial statements and management reportsPrepare annual external consolidated financial statements and footnotesSupervise semi-annual inventory destructions and annual physical inventory countsReview new accounting pronouncements/guidance, assist with implementation of relevant standards, and prepare white papers documenting implementationPrepare annual goodwill analysisAssist in establishing, maintaining, documenting, and implementing internal controlsAssist in annual audit process with external auditorsSupport the CFO and FP&A Manager in budgeting/forecasting processSupervision of Accounting staffBackup critical CFO/Controller dutiesSupport other departments with information requests, as necessaryOther duties and special projects as requestedRequired Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in AccountingThree years in Public Accounting and five total years in progressive accounting experienceIntermediate to Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups)Experience with other products in the Microsoft Office suiteCritical thinking/analytical skillsDetail oriented and highly organizedAbility to work effectively with minimal supervisionAbility to work well under pressure and able to meet challenging deadlinesAbility to prioritize multiple tasksExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications and Experience:Master's degree in AccountingCertified Public Accountant (CPA)Manufacturing experienceIntegrated manufacturing systems/ERP skillsSome travel to our manufacturing facility in Pryor will be required (typically less than 25% unless a special project is ongoing). Physical Demands:Requires moderate to long periods of time sitting at a desk, using computer monitor and keyboard, speaking on the phone, etc.Requires short to moderate (intermittent) periods of time standing or walking, often to and from meetings that require sitting.Requires very occasional lifting of objects (mostly documents, laptop equipment, etc.) that weigh fewer than 20 pounds.Xcaliber International offers competitive wages and an excellent benefit package.
