- Conduct thorough patient assessments, order necessary diagnostic evaluations, and create personalized care strategies
- Assess and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either in collaboration with physicians or independently (subject to credentialing)
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance, prevention, and disease management
- Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your practice scope
- Engage in follow-up care and management of chronic health issues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assure comprehensive and continuous care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Idaho
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Robust clinical judgment complemented by a nurturing approach
- Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
