As an Infection Control Nurse with Countryside Mental Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients and staff. About the Role: Developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures Conducting regular surveillance and monitoring of hospital-acquired infections Identifying and investigating potential infection control breaches Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines Providing education and training on infection control best practices to staff Participating in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes Responsibilities: Develop and maintain infection control policies, procedures, and standards Conduct regular infection control audits and inspections Identify and report potential infection control risks and incidents Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement infection control plans Provide education and training to staff on infection control best practices Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in the state of Kansas Experience in infection control and/or nursing leadership Strong knowledge of infection control principles and guidelines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package (to be determined) Opportunity to join a dedicated team of mental health professionals Collaborative and supportive work environment Professional growth and development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
