This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists skilled in hospital outpatient and oncology pharmacy, seeking a rewarding role in an infusion clinic setting. The position involves supporting clinic pharmacy operations, focusing on the safe and precise preparation and dispensing of complex chemotherapy and biologic medications. Providing direct clinical care and education to cancer patients in an ambulatory environment is a critical component of this role.

Location: Visalia, CA
Schedule:

• Day shifts
• Four 10-hour days per week

Responsibilities include:

• Managing clinic pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Preparing and dispensing chemotherapy and biologic medications with accuracy and care
• Delivering clinical pharmaceutical care and patient education to support cancer treatment in an outpatient infusion setting

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• Completion of PGY-1 residency or a minimum of two years clinical pharmacist experience
• Experience in outpatient oncology pharmacy highly preferred

This contract assignment starts ASAP, initially for 13 weeks with potential for extension or transition to permanent employment.
