Quality Supervisor - 2nd Shift

As part of this expansion in the U.S., XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Supervisor (Second Shift) to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities during second shift manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, delivery, and compliance standards across all production activities. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for maintaining product integrity on the floor, supporting real‑time problem solving, reinforcing quality standards, and ensuring assembly processes consistently meet internal requirements and external regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will be highly visible on the production floor, driving accountability, supporting operators and inspectors, and ensuring rapid containment and resolution of quality issues during off‑shift operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and support second shift quality operations, including quality inspectors and technicians. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and standard work. Ensure compliance with internal quality requirements and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, HVAC specifications). Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product conformance. Act as the primary quality escalation point during second shift operations. Identify, contain, and manage non‑conforming material, ensuring proper disposition and documentation. Lead root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality‑related concerns. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, scrap, and rework. Maintain accurate quality records, shift reports, and performance metrics, ensuring effective communication with day shift and management. Qualifications Proven experience as a Quality Supervisor, Quality Lead, or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Experience working second shift or in off‑shift manufacturing operations is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), preferably ISO 9001. Experience in manufacturing environments such as HVAC, industrial equipment, or complex assemblies is preferred. Familiarity with quality tools including SPC, root cause analysis, and CAPA systems. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, train, and foster accountability across teams. Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced production environment. Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.) is preferred.
