Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and surgical pediatric patients in a 26-bed PICU setting
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 based on patient acuity
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday coverage as required
• Complete unit and department-specific orientation prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU or CVICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and PALS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CVICU background strongly preferred
• Experience caring for a diverse range of critically ill pediatric diagnoses
