Survey Crew Chief
In 1982, the founders of Kaw Valley Engineering set out to build a firm that could provide a full range of consulting engineering services. For more than 42 years, our success has been evident as more than 180 employees in seven offices continue to provide civil engineering, survey, geotechnical engineering, and construction phase testing and observation services throughout the Midwest.

Job Description
Multiple locations available. This is an ongoing hiring opportunity that may be filled at any of the following Kaw Valley Engineering offices:
- Lenexa, KS
- Kansas City, MO
- Junction City, KS
- Wichita, KS
- Emporia, KS
- Garden City, KS
- Salina, KS
The successful candidate should possess the ability to work independently, as well as lead two- and three-person survey crews in the field to provide topographic and boundary surveys as well as construction staking. Calculating and recording field data is required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing topographic and boundary surveys and construction staking.
- Experience with GPS and robotics is required.
- Candidates must possess either a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
