Nursing Assistant

The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education:

• High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
• Hospital Assistant or equivalent training (nursing student)

Certification & Licensure:

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS)

Preferred Experience as Typically Acquired In:

• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital required or nursing student.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Requires communication, organization, and relationship skills.

Job Shift: Rotating

Schedule: Full Time

Shift Hours: 8

Days of the Week: Friday, Monday, Thursday, Tuesday, Variable, Wednesday

Weekend Requirements: Saturday, Sunday

Pay Range is $29.08 to $35.34 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
