Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Inwood, West Virginia

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
• Experience with school-aged children or pediatric populations is a plus
• Knowledge of IEP process, goal writing, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers and families
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development
• Consult with educators and provide strategies for classroom communication support
• Maintain timely and accurate compliance documentation in line with district and state guidelines
